When many of us read the Bible, it can be easy to think that the God of the Old Testament is a harsh God, while the God of the New Testament is a loving God. It's as if we think that God somehow mellowed out in His older years. This is not just a dry, intellectual issue. Rather, it can have a huge impact on the way we view God and how He interacts with us. Is the God of the Old Testament the same as the God of the New Testament? If God changes, does He change in His attitude towards us? Is He loving and compassionate when we are performing well, but angry and vengeful when we make mistakes? How does God feel when we stray and mess up our lives? Join us for this new series beginning Sunday, August 12th.

We all want good, healthy relationships with others. But navigating those relationships can often be tricky. Sometimes relational icebergs seem to pop up out of nowhere. And so we wonder how to relate to that family member who has “issues.” And what about working for that boss who is very controlling and demeaning? What do we do about those who have deeply wounded us? And how do we help that person who seems to take advantage of our assistance? Or what about our own baggage that we bring into these relationships? Does God give us any insight into these complicated issues? Join us this April & May as we address this tricky business of navigating healthy relationships amidst emotionally charged waters!
