Sin is bad. The church of Jesus Christ has sort of made detente with sin. We decided we can live with it as long as it isn't exposed. Well that's a lie. Sin will have consequences. Be warned.

Gideon has his orders and he obeys, even through his fears. When God comes to us, He has a purpose for us. We need to get busy, tear down the altars of the enemy and take a stand. There will be opposition, but God is with those He calls.

Peace is lacking in the world today. Not only among unbelievers, but among believers too. See how Gideon found peace through his encounter with the Lord.

God uses people for His purposes. We see ourselves and others how we are now. But God sees us the way we will be when He has finished with us. Where were you 5, 10, 30 years ago? Did you ever think you would be where you are now?

Oh the love of God! What can compare? Do you know how to recognize His love? Do you realize how blessed we are to be in His love?

God has made many promises to His people over the generations. Since He is sovereign and most powerful, there is no way for His promises to fail. Listen and be encouraged at the blessings we have being People of Promise

This world is full of things to discourage us and cause us heartache. But God has given us a future and we have to grasp it and enjoy it.
