Living Out Your True ChildhoodEveryday we are all faced with multiple decisions on whether or not to obey God. Sometimes those decisions are very simple. Sometimes they are very difficult. Sometimes those decisions involve something bad that God calls us not to do; to disobey God is a sin of commission. Other times those decisions are in regards to something good that God calls us to do; to choose not to do it is a sin of omission.
As we are faced with those decisions, whether consciously or subconsciously, we go through a decision-making process. What you think about in that process is important, because it can have a profound impact on what you decide to do. In fact, one of the reasons why we can struggle to obey God is that we have not thought through the whys--particularly why we should obey God. So if we were to ask the apostle John why we should obey God, what would he say?
