A blind beggar cried out for mercy as Jesus came by. And Jesus stopped. Isn't that awesome?

Again, Jesus shows His disciples what is "great" in the kingdom of God. Christians are not like the world. We are citizens of a different kingdom and we need to live like it.

Jesus was determined to go to the cross as He and the disciples and the crowd made their way to Jerusalem. He went through horrible things in order to make a way for us to be justified before a holy God.

This man climbed to the top of the ladder only to find that the ladder was leaned on the wrong building. He did everything right, but was all wrong.

Children embody the qualities necessary to enter the kingdom of God.

Divorce is a very difficult subject that impacts us all. Many people deal with the effects of divorce such as hurt, loneliness, lack of closure, uncertainty about the future, inadequacy, and many more. But even through the pain, this passage helps us understand the love that Jesus has for those suffering. It's never God's will that people divorce, but He loves us enough to contain the pain.

One of the most cryptic passages in the New Testament, and I have to admit, I don't really know what the last two verses mean. But I know the general meaning of the passage. Sin is a grievous crime for which we must do anything possible to purge it from ourselves.

One of the most heinous sins of all; the one we all deal with: Pride. God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.

Is your faith centered on Jesus? Or is it directed in some other direction? Even the disciples needed some correction.

What a wonderfully encouraging passage for Christians in this dark, corrupt, fallen world. We have hope! We have a Savior who will bring us to eternal glory.
