Gamers are commonly seen as being very sheltered, although the reverse is true. The advent of multi-player online experiences has spawned a new type of socializing in which participants collaborate to solve issues. However, studies have shown that games may be a trigger for friends to get together in person: around 70percent of the total of all gamers play with friends at least some of the time.
