Summary

Can life be a joyful journey without the firm conviction of a joyful destination? The apostle Paul thinks not. Throughout Romans 8, Paul has labored to teach Christians of the joy of their destination in Christ Jesus. And the joy of that destination allows us to hold fast to joy in our journey. But what assurance can we have of that destination considering the travails of this often unpleasant journey? Paul's confidence is that all who are truly in Christ are kept by His love to the very end.
