Summary

God is Real! This is not a news flash to those who belong to the family of God. We must now “get real” with God. It is high time to awake from our sleep and truly be about our Father’s business. We must launch out into the deep and depend upon the Holy Spirit of God to enlighten us and enable us to be obedient children. It is time for people to see the living God influencing and impacting our lives!Elijah showed us the reality of God in I Kings chapter 18. He challenged the prophetsof Baal to a duel of sorts. Let us both build an altar, put wood under the sacrifice,but no fire. We will cry out and the one who answers by fire we will follow. Theprophets cried out, screamed, and even cut themselves to no avail. Elijah simplysaid, “Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that you areGod in Israel, and that I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things atyour word.” “Hear me oh Lord, hear me that these people may know that You are the Lord God, and that You have turned their hearts back to You again.”
