Summary

Witnesses to Jesus // Jesus said in Acts, “Ye shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you SHALL be my witnesses.” This is not a suggestion. This is not a choice. We must be witnesses for Him. As we saw Sunday in God’s Word Jesus taught us several things that testify of Him. John the Baptist, the forerunner of Jesus Christ, was indeed a great witness for Him. He preached about Jesus and pointed all men to Him. The works that Jesus did were a greater witness that He was indeed the Son of God. All the miracles that He performed were to give evidence of His heritage. And then the Father is the greatest witness. The Bible says that God testified of the mission of His Son. All the Scriptures testify that Jesus was indeed who He said He was. // John 10:40; John 8:18; John 5:39; 1 Tim 2:4; 2 Peter 3:9
