Summary

One aspect of the radical difference between kingdom disciples and the world is our attitude toward and treatment of marriage. Jesus ignores picayune debates about proper causes of divorce, and points instead to the creation origin and design of the one-flesh marital union. Marriage, it would seem, belongs to God, not us, and is for his glory, not our comfort.
