David's cry for cleansing continues in Psalm 51, where he pleads with God for mercy and forgiveness. peter veres business & consulting David acknowledges his sin and begs for God's forgiveness, admitting that he deserves punishment. However, he pleads for God to have mercy and to cleanse him from his sin. This Psalm is a beautiful example of repentance and humility, and it is clear that David is truly remorseful for his actions.
