Summary

Recently, the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA) voted overwhelmingly to define marriage as "the union of two people" rather than between a man and a woman. This action, combined with the massive changes in our day, begs us to ask the question, "What is marriage?" Though a myriad of voices would give us a myriad of answer, as Christians, we must listen only to one voice. We must listen to the voice of God, as expressed in the Scriptures. And His answer is clear. God created marriage as a lifelong covenant relationship between one man and one woman.
