c. Did you notice the demeanor of the people's hearts and what was central to the weeklong Feast? (vs. 17-18)
d. What is so significant about this Feast of Booths? (Ex 19:18-19; Lev 23:34-43; Num 29:12-38; Deut 2:7; 8:2-4; 16:13-15, 31:10; Josh 24:29)
II.)WHAT DOES ALL THIS HAVE TO DO with us TODAY?
a. Should we observe the Feast of Booths? (See Col 2:16-17; Heb 9:9; 10:4, 12,14)
b. What's the point of Jesus Christ's death on the cross? (Rom 8:12-13; 13:14; Col 3:5-17; 1 Pt 2:24; Titus 2:14)
c. How can we grow in holiness?
i. Make repentance your daily lifestyle (1 Jn 1:9).
ii. Cut out the tempters and put sin to ____________. (Mt 5:27-30; Rom 8:12-13; Col 3:5-10)
iii. Put on holiness. (Rom 12:1-2; Col 3:11-17; Eph 5:1-21; Gal 5:16-26; 1 Tim 4:7-8)
iv. Have strong accountability. (Heb 10:24-25)
