He significantly expanded the dominion of his kingdom by force. And from the stories we read in Daniel, Nebuchadnezzar was egotistical and perhaps quick-tempered. He viewed his subjects as expendable, freely giving the orders of execution if they did not meet his demands. This makes the story of Daniel all the more impressive. So what can we learn from his story and how he responded to Nebuchadnezzar? What can we also learn about his relationship with God amidst extremely challenging circumstances?
