The rabbit, or pace-setter, in a track race has one purpose--to help the competitive runners arrive at the finish line at the proper pace. And the rabbit may not even finish. The Law of Moses had a purpose as well--to point the Jews (and everyone else) to the fulfillment of the Law, Jesus Christ. The Law does not point to itself, but to Christ. When we look at the Law, what do we see? Do we see a way to attain our own righteousness, or do we see the true way to find righteousness--faith in Jesus Christ?
