Summary

Expositional preaching. This philosophy of preaching makes a Bible passage the focus of the sermon, and explicitly draws the sermon topic from that passage. There are several reasons to preach expositionally. And one major reason is that both the preacher and the congregation must work through hard texts of Scripture. We cannot avoid passages or topics we don't like. One of those topics is "predestination." How does God's Word comfort Christians with this truth?
