Summary

Spiritual pride. Even though the Gospel of Jesus Christ precludes pride by its very nature, as Christians we still struggle with spiritual pride. As God shows favor to us, we can mistake that undeserved favor for deserved favor. Do we think that we deserve salvation because we are Americans? Do we think that we can take credit for our correct belief? May we return to the grace of the Gospel and remember all that we have is a gift from God.
