Summary

When God's people are downtrodden, where can they find hope? Only in the promises and purposes of God. Chronicles was written to God's people to remind them of God's promises to King David and Israel. And though King David did not see some of God's promises come to fruition, he still prepared for those promises, and for God's worship to continue. Though we don't know what God has in store for any one of us, will we spend our lives preparing for God's worship to continue?
