The ministry to which we are called spans the distance between God's gracious work in the death and resurrection of Jesus 2000 years ago to this time and place. This ministry is a call and a gift. Its task is preaching, teaching, encouraging. Its goal/purpose in to present persons complete in Christ. The power for this and the effect are from God.
