Jesus was a rabbi with s'mikhah - authority and demonstrated the Kingdom of God. Throughout the Gospels people commented that Jesus spoke as one with authority. God gave Jesus all authority. When the 120 waited in the upper room, God sent the Holy Spirit to fill them with the same power and authority. That same Holy Spirit is available for all believers.

What is worship? Worship means to honor with extravagant love and extreme submission. It's not just singing praise and worship songs or even praying. Worship is preoccupation with God alone.

We are to love the things God loves and hate the things God hates If we hate something, we stay away from it. Our problem is that we don't hate sin as God does.

Jesus broke the heavy yokes and burdens of sin. He also broke the heavy burdens of the laws of men. Jesus wants us to be yoked to Him. It's time we are yoked to the right master

Jesus said we will know a tree by the fruit it bears. Do we bear fruit of the Kingdom or do we bear fruit of the world?

God asked Abraham to pick up and move. We must be mobile like Abraham instead of being stationary. To be mobile we must allow the wind of the Holy Spirit to move us to our destinations. When we row rather than sail, we do not allow the Holy Spirit to guide us.

Jesus is the Rock of our foundation. Hope in Jesus is the anchor that holds to the rock. Our anchor is the faith we have in our hope, Jesus. We have hope in His promises. We cannot lose hope.

We are the temple of the Holy Spirit. God lives in us. We need to clean our houses of anything that is not of God.

There is a generation born that will love righteousness and hate evil. This generation will love the Word of God and declare it without hesitation. They will keep their hearts tender to the Lord.

Whatever the circumstance, praise the King. Praise Him in the good times and in the hard times. Praise Him because He is good and worthy to be praised. When our minds and hearts are focused on praising Him, our problems are put in perspective.
