This is a question we all face. Will we go where He sends us? Too often we want details before when God wants us to begin walking. Sometimes we quit because we don't see the big picture. We must be like Moses Abraham and Noah. It is our faith that pleases God.

How can we be victorious in this life if we do not know who we are and what is available to us? We struggle because we try to operate in the power of our flesh rather than the power of the Holy Spirit. Let us learn about the weapons and tools God has available to us.

The Word is clear. We cannot serve two masters. We cannot serve God and the things of this world. When we worship other things more than God, we are commiting spiritual adultery. In other words, we are cheating on God. We expect God to bless us and our mess while we are unfaithful. We must choose this day who we will serve.

We must guard our hearts against things that do not build us up in our faith. There is a daily competition for our attention by tv, internet, work, sports, family, friends, etc. The reality is the things of this world are contrary to the Kingdom of God. We must make a concentrated effort to make sure we are being led by the Holy Spirit rather than our flesh.

Do you believe that Jesus is Lord and Savior? Do you believe in hell? Do you believe that Jesus' return is imminent? We say we believe but our actions and lifestyle bear witness to what we believe. Are we more interested in our personal comfort or are we interested in seeing souls saved?

Jesus encountered a Samaritan woman at a well. Jews did not socialize with Samaritans. Jesus offered her living water, love, eternal life. She left the well and told people what Jesus had done. Wait to hear more of this story.......

There are 7 habits of strong believers. They feed their spirits by reading and listening to God's word daily. Believers strengthen and encourage themselves daily by speaking God's word over their lives. Believers dominate and control their thought lives by filling their minds with God's word. They anchor their hearts by giving God praise and thanksgiving. They charge their batteries and edify themselves by praying in other tongues.

James 1:22 says we are to be doers of the word not just hearers. If we hear the word but don't do it, we are being lazy and fooling ourselves. Being doers of the word requires faith. Being a doer of the word becomes a lifestyle not just something we do or going through the motions.

Jesus taught on the parable of the lost sheep. That sheep was lost. It was in the wrong place. The Father sent His Son to seek those who are in the wrong place. Jesus calls us to follow Him through repentance. We confess our sins and turn from our wrong place.

We need to re-present Jesus to others. The word represent means to re-present. We are called to re-present Jesus and His love for us. Sadly, sometimes we have not done a very good job. People see us and our mess instead of Jesus. They judge Jesus by our representation of Him not who He really is.
