Summary

Zeal. What do you think of when you hear the word 'zeal.' Sports fans? Video gamers? ISIS? And do we think that zeal is for the immature, the foolish, or the crazies? Paul sees in many of his fellow Jews a zeal for God...but not according to knowledge. And that distinction is of eternal importance. For Paul clearly sees them as lost. By his life and teaching, Paul shows us that zeal is not a bad thing. In fact, zeal is good...if it is directed toward the right object. May all of us be zealous for Jesus Christ through faith in His blood!
