At the end of Peter’s sermon at Pentecost the Bible says that the people were cut to the heart. They were deeply convicted about what they had done to Jesus. And they responded
by asking the question, “Men and brethren, WHAT SHALL WE DO?” That is
the question the Holy Spirit asked of us on Sunday. What are we going to do? As we face the future will be about the business of reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Or will we just be satisfied and sit here until we die? I certainly hope we do the former! “What shall we do?” What must we do? We must Cry Out to God in prayer. We must Consecrate ourselves to His service. And we must be willing to Change. Like the chorus says, “Change my heart oh God, make it ever true. Change my heart oh God, may I be like you.” Dear God make us more like You!
